The link between P3s and surveillance infrastrucure is worth exploring more. I've noticed how many "climate aligned" projects include data collection systems that get justified as efficiency tools but end up tracking everyone's movements and consumption. The privatiztion of gains while socializing costs isn't just happening with climate policy but also digital infrastructure.

Absolutely. Technocracy depends on the unprecedented gathering of information, and the building a data centers to process it all. Of course, these are looking for subsidies too, to offset the cost of the their massive energy consumption in part. You don't hear the 'Greens' talk about this though. Surveillance Capitalism infrastructure is the main 'investment' taxpayers are going to be asked to fund, as they build their own digital 15 minute prisons. Thank you for your comment.

Thank you Kara. I'm reminded of a famous quote by the Italian photographer, Letizia Battaglia (though I paraphrase here): "The mob didn't got out of business; it went into politics." Warmest wishes, David

Thank you David for keeping the dial turned up. I always learn from your posts. Getting informed is half the battle but we all need to do something about the information, me being one of them.

Merry Christmas and a big THANK YOU!

Thank you, and Yes indeed. A Merry Christmas (to all). I've been too caught up in work here and my head isn't yet in the holiday spirit. Today's a good day to start! . . . And this New Year is the perfect time to get involved in local politics: by calling for an end to the 'Climate Emergency,' exit from the PCP (here in Canada) and from the UN, WHO and WEF, an end to 'Stakeholder Capitalism' and 'P3s' for National Infrastructure, and, as Doreen mentioned below, an end to the UN 'Declaration of Office' and Oaths to the Crown. . . (for a start) "All I want for Christmas. . ." ;-)

Thank you for sharing this, Doreen. Time to end that United Nations instrument, the 'Declaration of Office' and Oaths for the Crown. Elected officials must openly stated they serve the interests of their constituents, only.

Yes, the Oath of Office and Oath of Allegiance, were merged into the one 'Declaration' - Sworn, or affirmed ". . . as if made under oath." ('but not really, I always feel I must add'). Quite something.

Another compelling review, thanks David. Yes, Canada is captured in so many ways. Hard to see us 'voting' our way out of this tyranny. We may have to rely on military or Divine intervention to emancipate humanity. The situation gives me Fitts! But I still think good things are ahead...all the best in 2026!

Yes, all the best for 2026. Though I have little faith in elections, I feel we must establish the platform issues moving forward, and attempt to have people we can work with elected to office. If we don't we know every day our interests will be undermined, as debt mounts up for things we don't agree with, yet still have to pay for. Thank you for all your efforts, and Merry Christmas :-)
