Inertia and Inevitability

This post is a little longer than usual, but do scroll through (and particularly to the University climate reports near the bottom) as much of this will have a profound impact on your life — and your bank account — in the not-too-distant future.

Committed groups of concerned residents and taxpayers are attending Council meetings, researching material and pushing back — countering the inertia — in the hope that we might avoid a financial ‘train-wreck.’ In Britain, we already see city after city going bankrupt, the result of economic destruction caused, in large part, by Mr. Carney’s Net Zero schemes, and other misguided polices — conveniently in line with Agenda 2030, and that ‘Great [monetary] Reset’:

‘[N]early one in 10 councils say they will likely declare bankruptcy this financial year [2024]. Half say they are likely to in the next five.’

This will sound alarmist, but there are many commentaries to be found; those on ‘Section 114 notices’ are particularly alarming, as here, unsuspecting home owners and ratepayers cover City debts through large increases in local taxes. The country of my birth is being devastated, thanks to inept and / or corrupt politicians (and central bankers of course). Canada is being similarly mismanaged, to near dissolution, with divisive policies and the financial sabotage of Globalists who seem determined to bankrupt Canadians (and ‘appropriate’ their assets).

I’d prefer to be painting, rather than sitting in Council meetings and debating the obvious with our uninformed (or ‘misinformed’) representatives. I’d love to tune out and forget it all. I wish I had time to play volley ball again in the evenings; I wish I could paint all day again, as I once did (before 2020); but (in my town at least) there are not enough of us (yet) engaged in the information campaign, and push back.

The Region has told us: “The climate science is settled.” But ‘This Isn’t Science, It’s Ideology’ — Kathryn Porter (energy consultant). At 39:30: “science is never settled”. Yet we hear these same words, from various government officials and staffers, especially those whose salaries depend on a continuing ‘Climate Emergency.’ And this view is expressed in item number one of Durham Region’s Strategic Plan (and Strategic Plans everywhere), informing policy decisions every day. So spending on projects that enrich Public Private Partnership (P3) partners (and contribute to the paychecks and pensions of Municipal employees) is bound to continue upward; and no one in the system has any real interest in the science that contradicts their profitable climate policies — ‘profitable’ to the corporate ‘Stakeholders’ that is.

The inertia of these ‘Captured’ governments will carry us inexorably forward; while elected representatives (staff and committee volunteers) play down our concerns, and deny published facts. We don’t get called ‘conspiracy theorists’ so often now (as we’ve been correct so often in the past); but we still get uncomprehending stares, few if any questions, and no action. Deflect, demur and delay — are the tactics employed, unless it’s a project for the Province or Feds; United Nation, WHO or WEF, et al.

This year’s Climate Roundtable keynote speaker, however, seems keen on action — to stop those who counter the official policy, and maybe have them charged, with ‘misinformation or disinformation’. Apparently, Ontario Tech University is working on technology to watch for just such misinformation or disinformation, and again, I draw your attention to the Orwellian nature of the 2025 event: ‘Clearing the Air: Climate Communication in an Age of Misinformation and Disinformation. ’

If we don’t speak up now, and these technocrats have their way, we will not be allowed to speak out in future. After many requests to post video of the proceedings, we finally had to accept no video was taken — that anyone wants shared publicly, at least. This event was labelled a ‘special meeting’ but it was, nonetheless, a public meeting — staged at the public’s expense — and a video should have been made available. I’m assured this may well be the case next time; so that, at least, is progress . . .

I recently put together a series of charts countering the official climate consensus, and presented these to the local Environment Committee on Feb 23^rd; digital copies (of much of this material) were sent the next day. I’ll include all of that here, in time, but one of the main assertions of the Ontario Tech University keynote speaker was the claim that forest fires in Canada were a direct consequence of global warming. He also expressed some disillusionment at Thorold’s exit from the Partners for Climate Protection (PCP) — ICLEI /UN initiative — and there was spirited audience reaction to this (more later). For now, let me show you the data presented, specifically that contradicting the fire ‘misinformation’ of climate advocates and profiteers.

Forest fires are not on the rise, as you see below, and more to the point, the fact that Canada seems like an outlier here, may very well be attributed to the spraying of Glyphosate, that some local and provincial governments are allowing. Patricia Conlin is taking a lead on this in Scugog (the next municipality over in my Region) and I hope to have more on this soon.

My suggestion was that our Environment committees, might best serve the residents of this Region, and other Regions, by looking into subjects of this nature, the use of glyphosate and biosludge on farms lands, micro plastics and ‘forever chemicals’ in water, etc., rather than arguing over CO2. As one astute Committee member put it, “you can find a chart to prove anything you want.” Exactly. . . And, if you torture the numbers long enough, you can make them say anything you want. Everyone is familiar with that famous ‘Hockey Stick’ temperature chart, of course, that reaches from the present day back to 1000 AD. As you see below though, this chart is conveniently cherry-picked to exclude the 800s and the Roman era (2000 years ago) — where temperatures were as high, or higher, than today. If we go back to the Holocene, the temperatures were higher still. These are random charts I’ve had on my computer for some time, but there are plenty of others to be found on line, to compare.

I found a particularly interesting commentary on the ‘Petrophysicist’ page, not because this is a source you should automatically trust, but rather, because it is also important to check what the so-called ‘fact checker’ have to say. And I’ll return to this with some material of my own, fact checking ‘fact checkers’ next time.

And none of this is to dismiss the suggestion that it has been warmer; rather, it is to point out that CO2 isn’t necessarily the problem. . . More on this from NASA next time. Looking at the cycles above though, you might actually conclude (as ‘Spock’ seemed to believe) that cooling may soon be of more concern — and cold kills far more people than heat.

Moving on from this, for now, I will suggest that CO2 is portrayed as the problem, because Carbon has already been financialized. Carbon trading is already happening and, though these markets are not thriving, there are vested interests backing them; for the simple reason that establishing a carbon price — then giving all goods and services a carbon score — is massively lucrative for those selling carbon offset credits. When people are eventually assigned their life-time carbon allowance, they’ll be micromanaged (and controlled) in ways most cannot yet even image.

Having said this, a considerable percent of regular folk don’t see ‘Climate Change’ as a priority. Maybe some already feel Net Zero is another money grab (it wouldn’t be the first time); what they don’t know yet, is what’s going on at the Regional and Municipal level. Below, is a recent poll which ranks the concerns of people across Canada; and less than one-in-five Liberals, even, now rate climate change as a priority:

Not withstanding so-called ‘Trump derangement syndrome,’ that has some life-long ‘Conservatives’ rationalizing that Mr. Carney might be working for Canadians after all, most Canadian’s realize there is something else going on, and that ‘climate' alarmism is being used as a tool to extract ‘value’ (in the form of tax dollars and fees) from the unsuspecting and uninformed.

If you assume, as politicians will tell you, that you are a ‘stakeholder’ (in the WEF’s new ‘Stakeholder Capitalism’ model that all levels of government have adopted) you would be mistaken. . . You are not, although they may be. This is a “Big Club” as George Carlin explained, “and you ain’t in it.” Surprisingly, the word ‘Mayor’ does not appear in our Municipal Act . . . There is a ‘head of council’ though (a CEO), and this individual represents the interests the Corporation of the Township or City (and is effectively subordinate to the CAO); neither puts the wishes of constituents first. They will tell you they do, until something we might like to see is in conflict with a corporate entity that wishes to do business with the Corporation of the Town. Of course, whatever this business is, the unwitting local tax payers will be forced to pay. This, as you might have guessed, is how ‘Stakerholder Capitalism’ works — for the actual ‘Stakeholders’ (all of which, we must return to later).

Depopulation and Replacement Migration — in a growing Police State?

‘Stability’ for now, that is; on a determined upward trajectory with no end in sight. So what are we mostly paying for this time? Boots on the ground and drone fleets, perhaps hooked into Palantir’s system? God knows. . . Someone needs to be keeping a closer eye on this too. The feeling that our future is being decided for us is overwhelming sometimes — see my earlier post: ‘Man at the Crossroads–Again: Controllers of the Universe’ (which, coincidentally, includes a notice of the previous Climate Roundtable).

There are various reasons for the current decline in Canada’s population: Reduced foreign students and expiring visas, students and new immigrants who realize it’s almost impossible to exist in this completely mismanaged country, entrepreneurs who realize this government will choke the life out of their aspirations, and those with means, who are on their way out the door already.

Most of my friends are pretty Black-Pilled. Some of this is post-traumatic stress, from being aware of so much for the past six years, but some of this is ‘programming’ too, in my opinion — the “ideology of futility.” Whatever the reason, we don’t get enough help canvassing and attending meetings, because so many people think it’s a complete waste of time talking to Council — and they may be right! Consequently, and just as concerning, many of ‘the best and the brightest’ are giving up, and would rather just leave; we see this in the population statistics below.

Many see what has happened in the past few years as ‘weaponized’ migration; that is, mass-immigration designed to destabilize society, with a possible long term hidden depopulation agenda — for ‘heritage residents’ and those with assets, or who stand in the way of a resource grab / asset transfer. This is a theory, about a real conspiracy, but you can check the documents below and make up your own mind of course. What happened in 2025 however, might simply be an adjustment, but Canada is the world’s second largest landmass, and second richest resource base after Russia. . . and we know there are some pretty ruthless people out there in the world.

Of course, our own technocrats — an ‘army of occupation’ of sorts — have already assumed control, and have almost secured this control with their technology (while we were not paying attention and cheering on technology). Even the Canadian band Rush tried to tell us this was coming back in the 70s as Neoliberalism was taking hold (it’s always the artists): “Our great computers fill the hallowed halls. . . We have assumed control.”

Despite the Century Initiative’s mass-immigration plan, Canada’s population, for the first time ever, decreased in 2025. In Q1, the population of Canada zeroed out:

And by Q3, Canada’s population shrank by 75,000. Predictions are this trend will continue into 2027, however, if the ‘Century Initiative’ folk have their way, by 2100 Canada’s population will 100 million — more than double the current size — and (many predict) predominantly Indian (migrants from India that is). We have, I would suggest, a very short window of time; it might be too late from Europe, but some of us are still optimistic for this county.

As a monetary reformer, I’m not a fan of perpetual growth for other reasons, mainly the environmental impact; though, like many indigenous people (who were not thrilled about being ‘settled’ the first time) I’m also not happy about the nature (and culture) of this country being just as radically changed. In the true spirit of Reconciliation, we must be together on this point.

The UN’s ‘Replacement Migration’ — implemented by all levels of government — is about the replacement of ‘legacy residents’ (as one local head of Council calls us), and this will effect first nations too. None of this would be necessary, of course, if we didn’t have an actual Ponzi Scheme, which requires perpetual growth, as a monetary system; but, also, if our current politicians hadn’t so mismanaged the country — that our existing young residents don’t want the responsibility of children — there would not even be a rationale to ‘grow’ our population through mass-replacement migration.

Ponzi Schemes require continual in-flows of capital, and exponential growth so as not to collapse. ‘Growth’ is presented as a positive indicator of ‘progress’ therefore. Massive growth also allows a parasitic class to extract massive profits from the system, without the (host) ‘peasants’ realizing they’re been bled dry. Artificial growth can be generated for a while, by inflating the money supply and debasing the currency, but this is where the real wealth extraction to take place.

Will people figure this out in time? Probably not, as only 1 in 100 (perhaps only 1 in a 1000) understand the monetary system is designed for this purpose — and the mind-control runs deep. Stay distracted, and believe whatever the media tells you to believe — but we here, at least, now how these magicians work! You’ll probably remember this clever (and not-so-subtle) brainwashing — of Canadians in this case:

“I believe in diversity, not assimilation... I am Joe, and I Am Canadian.”

And remember when Patriotism was a thing? Before 2015 that is, when Mr. Trudeau announced that Canada was the world’s first “Postnational State.” By 2022, you were considered a ‘racist’ if you professed to be a Patriot; heaven forbid you put a flag on your car! And now Carney’s ‘Elbow’s Up’ crew claim to be Patriots, as they fly their appropriated Maple Leaf and cheer on the “New — World — Order” (forgetting that they called us ‘Conspiracy Theorists’ for using these words, just a couple of years earlier. Of course, anyone who fell for ‘Elbows Up!’ will believe absolutely anything:

“Hello handsome. . . you look like a good Joe!”

An AI girlfriend anyone, to tell you how SMART you are? Hard to believe this is a thing now too. It’s a complete Circus out there, and the show is only going to get crazier as the Fourth Industrial Revolution unfolds. The ‘AI slop’ is increasing and creating more confusion, and more addled minds. Those who haven’t glimpsed the wizard behind the curtain by now are probably not going to come to their senses without an actual psychotic break, at this point, as their bubble-worlds diverge further and further from reality.

Canada is being dismantled before our eyes and — with land rights issues, the tokenization of our assets, C40 cities plans and so-called ‘rewilding’ — the stage is being set for the new ‘Land Clearances’ and a neofeudalism.

The title of this post came about for two reasons. First, it relates to my previous piece (just fill in the evil blank) — with that famous quotation from Nuremberg — but a commentary in this video about Mel Gibson (that popped up a few days ago) grabbed my attention: ‘He knew… He even warned us’

At 35.36 : “The banality of evil. . . Thousands of people making small cowardly decisions that add up to systemic abuse — which is far more disturbing because that’s what happens with the government; like fraud, and sh _t . . . That’s the banality of evil. . . 50 people with malicious compliance [but] it’s no one’s fault. . .”

I don’t need to say any more on this (after the last post) and I don’t want to appear partisan here either; after all, it was the ‘Con’servatives who signed us onto the United Nations’ Agenda 21 in 1992 (Mulroney), and Agenda 2030 in 2015 (Harper), setting the stage for the sell out of Canada by subsequent Liberal administrations, as the actual ‘administration’ of Canada shifted to the United Nations (it now seems).

It is obvious, after three consecutive Liberal (Globalist) regimes, that the dismantling of Canada (and the selling off of its assets) is moving into high gear, thanks to Brookfields’ bankruptcy specialists — and now Brookfields’ ‘Prime Minister.’ While cleaning up my studio a few days ago, as it happens, I came across a copy of the Financial Post Magazine, December 2008 (in the midst of last financial Crisis). A smug ‘Senior Manager of Brookfield Asset Management’ graces the cover. Ah, those money magicians! They’re laughing at us. . . all the way to the bank: Crisis?

And, more recently, Canada’s de facto Chief bankruptcy trustee, appeared on the cover of a 2021 CPA professional publication (and don’t expect our professional accountants to ever speak up either). The title of this article in Pivot: ‘A Call to Action’ . . . ‘UN special envoy for climate action and finance, sits down for an exclusive Q&A on how to create value via net-zero.’ ‘Value’ for Brookfield’s clients that is, and other offshore vulture capitalists — through net-zero infrastructure P3s, and such.

Again, as a monetary reformer, I must repeat the old mantra: A monetarily sovereign nation (especially one with resources like those in Canada) does not need to borrow money. Canada could create its own money (for infrastructure) and does not need to borrow, at interest — let alone, from international ‘investors’ through P3s.

And its funny how the Liberal’s much loved ‘DP World’ (Dubai Ports) private equity firm, keeps coming up: First, with the dubious Port of Montreal Public Private Partnership deal (in my post ‘Captured’), then the resignation of its CEO, for sharing ‘torture videos’ (in ‘Musings on Pure Evil’) and now, with DP World’s predictable involvement in shipping LNG, profiting the companies and investors elsewhere in the world, when Canada could be producing, and transporting, its own domestically produced natural gas — at a fraction of the price, and (ironically) at a fraction of the Carbon footprint. But Net Zero, and all of those other Greenwashing scams, are not about the environment; they are about enriching Green Grifters and Globalist elites, at the expense of unwitting (and uninformed) taxpayers.

I don’t have space here for all of the charts (and statistics) I’ve provided to my local Councils and Committees (over the past few years), but this too is a ‘work-in-progress’ (you might say) and I will share more later. The main point I’d like to make here is: We are often called ‘conspiracy theorists’ for talking about social engineering ‘goals’ published in official documents — C40 cities’ ‘The Future of Urban Consumption in a 1.5°C World’, for instance, from the University of Leeds — while these same ‘goals’ are listed in the 2024 GHG Emissions Report from Ontario Tech University, in partnership with Durham Region:

•Shift to low-carbon integrated mobility (far fewer single occupant vehicle trips, especially in internal combustion engine vehicles);
•Redesign neighbourhoods to be far less reliant on car access; Phase out natural gas for space heating (urge provincial adoption of bans on natural gas in new neighbourhoods, similar to Vancouver and Montreal);
•Shift personal purchasing practices, e.g., fewer flights and cruises, eat less meat (especially beef), emphasise waste minimization (especially food waste);
•Continue to pursue, and expand, programs such as building retrofits and the Durham Community Energy Plan.

Although Councilors have repeatedly assure us that the idea of 15 minutes cities is “crazy talk,” and that they wouldn’t dream of restricting our travel, or preventing us from eating meat, here (in the Region’s own documents) are all of these ‘restrictions’ — ‘priorities’ so-called — that will continue to shape the policy decision of our Region, and our Municipalities. . . until the ‘Climate Emergency’ is ended.

How, might you ask, are the ‘powers that be’ planning to implement and enforce these priorities (so that you will take far fewer trips in your internal combustion engine powered vehicle)? Total surveillance of course, and SMART city (Intelligent Community) geo-fenced ‘districts’ to make sure you don’t (can’t) drive too far — or get to the airport for that flight to your cruise?

So you are being ‘misinformed’ — I won’t say ‘lied to’ because our representatives, I feel, are grievously ‘misinformed’ themselves — and this has to change. In addition to the reports above, I’d suggest you also revisit ‘Absolute Zero’ (the chart on pages 6-7 in particular) in this University of Cambridge document. Net Zero is ‘big business’ these days, because everything you own is up for grabs now, thanks carbon trading and tokenized assets — and most taxpayers don’t even know that everything they think they still own is being tokenized (and prepared for the taking).

The job of your elected representative, it would seem, is to distract you from all of this; to deny everything and tell you ‘you’ve got it all wrong’ — while they usher in the (‘data-driven decision’) technology that is designed to track you, measure your carbon footprint, and lock you down again, whenever those with real power desire.

Funny no one seems to be talking about ‘climate lockdowns’ anymore; the world went back to sleep when the ‘health emergency’ ended and life (sort-of) returned to ‘normal.’ But don’t forget, that ‘digital slave device’ (your not-so SMART phone), is an essential component in the utopian, digital gulag. . . tracking your purchases, your carbon allowance, and your whereabouts (when you will travel only by permission, if you behave) in the not too distant future.
